RCJY inks USD239m projects with two Saudi contractors

(MENAFN) The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) inked two contracts worth USD239.4 million to undergo infrastructure projects in Jubail Industrial City, Arab News reported.

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunyyan, chairman of RCJY signed the contracts with Al-Kifah and Al-Asis Contracting Companies. Both contracts are scheduled to be implemented in 38 months.

The projects include the construction of 540 housing units, two mosques and associated works in the Jalmuda district, Jubail Industrial City.

The scope of work includes site preparation, earthwork, excavation and back-filling works, the preparation of rainwater, sanitation, drinking water, and irrigation networks, the procurement and installation of fire-fighting systems, power and telecommunication cables, the development of an IP-based TV transmission system, in addition to gardening and landscaping.
