Renault sales up 27% in the Gulf region

(MENAFN) Renault ME Managing Director, Peyman Kargar, stated that the company’s sales increased 27 percent in the GCC last year, reported Emirates 24/7.

Kargar also added that sales reached 12,000 units of five brands, while holding a firm position as the leading European car manufacturer in Oman and Saudi Arabia.

In the UAE however, sales jumped to over 50 percent in 2012.

It is worth noting that Renault has a large stake in Nissan, enabling it to utilize product developments and technologies from the Far East.
