Residential sector in UAE to decline

06 Sep 2016

(MENAFN) Overall residential values and rents in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are ready to decline for the remainder of this year.

Accordingly, a number of global economic factors are contributing to the recent pressure on the UAE residential marker, involving oil prices.

Moreover, in Dubai the market is predicted to stabilize by the end of next year, due to the Expo 2020 effect, which will influence the demand for real estate in Sharjah.

On the other hand, it is expected that villa values end the year up to 20 percent lower on 2015 in the city”s residential investment areas.
