(MENAFN) UK-based luxury car maker Rolls-Royce reported 30 percent increase in its Middle East sales in the first quarter from a year earlier, Arabian Business reported.
The Phantom Series maker said that its sales were strong in Saudi Arabia in particular, while other Gulf markets such as the UAE and Qatar achieved healthy growth rates.
Rolls-Royce attributed its growth in the region to high market demand for its Phantom and Ghost models.
The carmaker announced recently it will recall 2010 and 2011 Ghost models over a problem linked to a faulty circuit board.
Rolls-Royce dealers will replace the faulty circuit board which controls a water pump for the turbochargers cooling system.
