Salary increase expected to be stronger in GCC in 2014

(MENAFN) A survey by GulfTalent says that employment growth and higher salary increases will be stronger in the Gulf region this year, Arabian Business reported.

Private sector salaries in the region are expected to increase at a pace faster than last year.

Oman is expected to see an average pay increase of 8 percent, making it the highest in the region.

Saudi Arabia comes second with an expected average increase of 6.8 percent, followed by Qatar and the UAE at 6.7 percent and 5.9 percent, respectively.
