Samsung holds 50 pct of Saudi Arabia’s smartphone-market shares

(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics KSA General Manager Jae Cheon Park said that Samsung owns 50 percent of Saudi Arabia’s smartphone market shares recording a significant presence in the Saudi smartphone market, according to Saudi Gazette.

Samsung plans to release new Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch soon in Saudi, especially in Jeddah and Riyadh by the end of the current month, September.

Park said: “We have done very well with smart phone industry thanks to the choice of Saudi consumers, and we believe that the business environment as well as consumer awareness are the catalysts for Saudi market growth.”
