(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics registered a significant rise in mobile phone sales of 67.3 percent in Bahrain in 2013, according to Gulf Daily News.
Samsung Gulf Electronics head of telecommunications group Hayssam Yassine said that the company’s highest sales were of smartphones in Bahrain, along with the rest of the GCC markets too.
In the Gulf, Samsung reported a 42.2 percent rise following the launch last year of Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, and other smartphones.
Yassine said: “The mobile phone market in Bahrain is developing exponentially, and Samsung has kept up by doubling down on innovative features and superior hardware across all of our mobile phone lines.”
