(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics registered another lead over its rival Apple in their shipments of tablet into the Middle East and African market during the April-June period, Emirates 24/7 reported.
During the second quarter of 2014, Samsung shipped 862.000 units, while Apple managed to bring in 622.000 units.
The two giants were followed by Lenovo in the third place with 420,000 units, while Asus came in the fourth place with a total of 284.000 units shipped.
Meanwhile, the overall tablet shipments recorded a decrease of 2 percent during the second quarter of 2014 to reach a total 3.95 million units.
