(MENAFN) ArRiyadh Development Authority (ADA), the company responsible for modernizing Riyadh’s infrastructures, said that it has granted a USD31 million contract to Spanish firm Indra for the implementation of the world’s biggest ticketing system for the Riyadh public transport systems, Arabian Business reported.
The project, which will last for a period of 54 months, will also include maintenance and technological assistance for 10 years, with Indra set to develop the entire advanced pricing management system for the city’s public transportation network
The contract also includes a ticketing control center with information from the various systems, financial management software, the operator clearing house, and other systems for commercial management.
