(MENAFN) Saudi Al Hokair Group’s CEO, Sami AM Al-Hokair, said that next year, the developer would restart constructing its Al Sahara Kingdom hotel and entertainment project in Dubailand, reported Arabian Business.
Al-Hokair added that at the current time, the project is on hold; however, the firm would try to resume construction of the hotels and theme park, combined with the apartments and villas.
He also said that the Al Sahara Kingdom is designed over a 50 million sq ft area in Dubailand, and would include two 4-star hotels, to be run by Al
Hokair-owned MENA Hotels & Resorts, in addition to an indoor theme park, restaurants, residential areas and a retail souk.
It is worth noting that construction of the project would be expected to take two years.
