Saudi Arabia demand on cement worth USD30 b

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is expected to register as the first country in the GCC in consuming and requiring cement reaching USD30 billion over the coming couple years, according to Arab News.

The GCC demand on cement is expected to reach USD49 billion by 2015, while Saudi share will form 61.22 percent of the Gulf demand and consumption of cement.

The big demand on cement in Saudi Arabia was after the huge projects implemented by the government as 80 percent of their needs depended on cement.
