Saudi Arabia sets new standards on importing air conditioners

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has announced the new standards of importing air-conditioning devices, and will ban importing any devices that do not match with the conditions, according to Arab News.

An expert said: “The decision to ban the import of air conditioners that do not comply with Saudi standards will have its positive result in eliminating imitated devices.”

The Kingdom’s air conditioner market is expected to reach USD 799 million.
