Saudi Arabia to build ten mosques in Maldives

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia said it intends to build ten “world-class” mosques in the Maldives, a small islands nation in the Indian Ocean, according to Arabian Business.

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud revealed the announcement in a visit to the Maldives.

Maldives has already discussed an oil facility worth USD300 million in the Kingdom. It was not approved in the recent prince’s visit to the Maldives, however.
