Saudi Arabia’s non-oil investments worth USD83.7 billion

(MENAFN) Najran Investment Forum reported that Saudi Arabia’s non-oil investments in the private sector are worth USD83.7 billion, while the foreign direct investments form 20 percent of the kingdom’s total investments reached USD16.3 billion, according to Arab News.

The forum was opened by Najran Government Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah and welcomed more than 600 ministers, businessmen and businesswomen and government officials.

“Najran is a rich region with a lot of minerals such as zinc and copper, which must be exploited for its development,” said the former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohammed.
