Saudi Aramco, Essar sign USD54m contract

(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco has awarded Essar Projects a USD54 million maiden contract to upgrade a unit at Aramco’s Abqaiq Plant in Shaybah, according to Arab News.

Essar said: “The USD54-million EPC project involves the upgradation of a Crude Stabilization Unit at Aramco’s Abqaiq Plant in Shaybah, one of the largest oilfields in the world.”

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement and construction of a crude tank, replacement of crude pumps and associated civil, piping, as well as electrical and instrumentation facilities.

The company said that the project is planned to be completed in around 29 months.
