(MenaFn) Saudi Aramco’s joint venture with France’s Total said yesterday that the Saud-based Jubail refinery started operating during the current month and will produce 400.000 barrels per day. It is planned that the plant will export its first cargo this month, according to Gulf Daily News.
The company said: “Start-up is progressing as per the plan. Production has started from the refinery and first shipment will be exported by end of September. Further shipments will follow as per the start-up schedule and the production plan.”
The company’s first 200.000 barrels per day crude units was already operated while the rest will be operated soon.
