Saudi budget revenue to hit USD301 b in 2013

(MENAFN) Budget revenue of Saudi Arabia is expected to exceed USD301 billion this year, while expenditure will stand at USD246 billion, according to Arab News.

Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf said: “The increase of actual over budgeted expenditures of around SR105 billion was due to additional expenditures on projects in the Two Holy Mosques and other development and service projects, especially transportation, housing, and education.”

The Kingdom’s public debt will fall to about USD20 billion by the end of the current year compared to USD26.3 billion in 2012.
