(MENAFN) New-car sales in Saudi Arabia have boosted by 3.2 percent to reach 190,000 cars in the first three months of the current year, up from 184,000 in the same quarter 2013, according to Arab News.
Faisal Abu Shoushah, head of National Committee for Car Dealers, said that car sales are growing globally, not only in Saudi.
Yasir Abu Alfaraj, assistant secretary of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that car market does not experience recession. However, that does not mean all new cars are immediately sold, noting that sales are mostly concentrated in the second-hand cars.
