(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Asry Offshore Services (AOS) chief executive Nils Kristian Berge said that Saudi clients accounted for 24 percent of AOS in the first six months of the current year, according to Arab News.
AOS has made deals with many Saudi companies, including Aramco, Ensco, Hercules, Rowan, and Shelf Drilling.
Saudi is a major part of Asry business as the Kingdom owns a large proportion of regional fleets that are guided by Saudi rules and standards.
Berge said: “For example, Saudi Aramco specifications are constantly updated, which means that jack-up rigs must also be constantly updated, resulting in more business for Asry.”
