Saudi commercial firms capital at USD226.87b

(MENAFN) Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) released data showing that the capital of commercial companies operating in the country amounted to USD226.87 billion until 2013, reported Arab News.

The CSC data also showed that the number of commercial companies in the kingdom rose to 21,130, with share holding companies making up for 74.3 percent and limited enliability companies accounting for 24.2 percent of the total number.

According to the data, the number of companies in the field of installement was 300 with a capital of USD4.82 billion.

It is worth mentioning that the cumulative number of companies and business firms in the Gulf country stands at around 868,000 company and firm, 30.8 percent of which are in the Riyadh region.
