Saudi Electricity Company signs USD2 b worth of deals

(MENAFN) Saudi Electricity Company has signed loan agreements with a number of financial institutions to construct a new power project worth about USD2 billion on the Kingdom’s west coast, according to Arab News.

The agreements for the loan have been signed with several banks from Asia and Europe.

Through the agreement, SEC will build a 2,650-megawatt generating plant in South of Jeddah.
