Saudi Electricity Company to launch 17 projects

(MENAFN) Saudi Electricity Company plans 17 new projects across the kingdom to meet the growing demand on energy and electricity, according to Arab News.

The projects are estimated at as much as USD1.9300 billion, and will include new transformer stations in Waed Al-Shamal, Gurayat, Tabarjal, Al-Jouf and Arar at a cost of USD623 million.

Saudi Electricity Company’s board has approved two projects worth USD193.389 million. One of which is a 380KV transport line from Tabarjal to Al-Jouf, while the other will be from Al-Jouf to Arar.

A 380KV line will be established between Tabuk and Tabarjal at a cost of USD168.22 million.
