Saudi exports down 8.9 percent to USD341.65b in 2014

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian exports decreased by 8.9 percent, reaching USD341.65 billion in 2014 against USD373.6 billion recorded the previous year, the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) showed, Arab News reported.

The decline of 2014 is attributable to the decrease in oil exports by 11.6 percent, hitting USD282.93 billion against USD320.2 billion recorded the previous year.

Exports of mineral products, including oil, topped the list of exported commodities and fetched USD282.9 billion, which is equivalent to about 83.17 percent of the total exports.
