(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Finland to enhance the bilateral cooperation in the telecommunications sector and in Information and Communication Technology, Arab News reported.
Under the MoU, the two countries will collaborate on different matters within the telecommunication sector including broadband, digital media and cyber security, as well as education and communication, which Finland being of the world’s leaders in these sectors.
Saudi, which also have agreements on education with Finland, said that they are interested in boosting the bilateral cooperation in the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the kindergarten program, especially since two countries have a similar system of free education for their citizens.
