Saudi GACA to issue sukuk worth USD3.9 billion

(MENAFN) The General Authority of Civil Aviation plans to buy sukuk stands at USD3.9 billion for the expanding projects’ funding of King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah and King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, according to Arab News.

GACA official said: “One of the major features of our sukuk is that it is fully guaranteed by the Saudi government through the Finance Ministry.”

The authority now registered its second issue of Islamic sukuk after it recorded a previous issue success in 2012.
