(MENAFN) The German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that it has held high-level talks with different Saudi government agencies, including the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) in the aim of discussing ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Germany and Saudi, Arab News reported.
The chamber said that the talks mainly revolved around ways of increasing bilateral cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Germany in economy, trade and investment fields, as well as ways to set up investment projects in the two countries, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, transport, electricity, health, housing and manufacturing.
The discussions also involved trying to find ways to boost Saudi exports to Germany, thus resulting in increasing the volume of trade, the possibility of creating joint ventures in a number of sectors, as well as discussing ways of ways of cooperating between the two countries in terms of small and medium enterprises.
“We welcome the efforts to promote closer economic and trade ties between Saudi Arabia and Germany and the possibility to allow a greater flow of trade and wider opportunities for joint ventures. Both the Saudi and German Chambers are playing our role in improving the investment climate.” Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Chairman said.
