(MENAFN) An Israeli bank confirmed that details of 15,000 credit cards were hacked by customers have been exposed by hackers on the internet, while Saudi hackers claimed they were responsible of the attack, reported Arabian Business.
The bank said that steps were taken to protect the interest of their clients. This included suspending the use of these cards via internet and phone.
In addition, all credit cards, originally issued by Isracard and Leumi Card, would be replaced.
The bank noted that the hackers were able to intrude into the websites of companies that maintained the credit card information.
