(MENAFN) Saudi hotels enjoyed good occupancy rates and high profits in May this year, while data showed that the same items in the UAE were not as good compared to the year ago period.
Meanwhile, in Jeddah, occupancy rates increased 80.2 percent, whereas the revenue per available room reached USD247 in the May.
Moreover, in the UAE, although occupancy levels were strong, especially in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, revenue per available room dropped.
The UAE capital recorded 73.5 percent revenue per available room growth, while Dubai posted 77.8 percent.
