Saudi Iktifaa to establish major agricultural, animal projects in Sudan

(MENAFN) Iktifaa, a Saudi-based agricultural company, plans to major agricultural and animal projects in Sudan’s state of Sennar and the Northern state to produce grain and cattle feed, according to Saudi Gazette.

Iktifaa plans to grow wheat, corn, and oilseeds, in addition to investing in cattle fattening projects.

The executive director of the Saudi agricultural company, Iktifaa, Mohamed Bin Saeed Al-Atiya, said that Sudan is a major country in covering the Kingdom’s demand on food as it enjoys vast resources including large agricultural land, animal wealth, and water.
