09 Sep 2013

(MENAFN) Saudi investors of the Bahraini Marina West project called on the Bahraini government to get their money back as the project was stopped, according to Arab News.

150 Saudi investors have invested about USD106.6 million in the project, including some other investors from the GCC, three years ago. Now they called the government for a public auction and want their funds to be paid back.

The project, which has 500 housing units, was due to be delivered in December 2010. As the project did not finish, the investors objected and filed their cases in Bahraini courts.
