Saudi Jarir reports USD43m profit in Q3

(MENAFN) Jarir Marketing Company (JMC) posted a 5.1 percent increase in quarterly profit on growing turnover of all Jarir sections except the smart phones, in addition to opening two new showrooms in Yanbu and Riyadh, the company said in a statement on the Saudi bourse (Tadawul).

The company said it made USD42.85 million during the third quarter, up from USD40.77 million a year earlier.

Quarterly operating profit also increased by 6 percent to USD42.66 million from USD40.23 million a year ago, the company added.

Founded in 1979, Jarir Marketing Company is Saudi Arabia’s largest office supplies and electronics retailer.
