(MENAFN) Saudi telecoms operator Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) reported a 23 percent increase in quarterly profits on higher revenue from its data and business units, Reuters reported.
The company said it earned USD403 million net profit during the third quarter, up from a year earlier. Quarterly revenue hit USD399.5 million, up from USD319.6 million a year ago.
The company also reported a 23 percent increase in its third-quarter operating profit to USD418.1 million.
In September, Saudi Arabia’s No.2 mobile operator said it had signed agreements with several mobile virtual network operators about potentially hosting one of them on its network.
