(MENAFN) Saudi telecoms operator Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) reported a 13 percent increase in quarterly profits on improved efficiencies, Arab News reported.
The company said it made USD429.22 million net profit during the second quarter, up from USD378.6 million a year earlier.
Mobily also reported a 5 percent increase in quarterly revenue to USD1.6 billion compared to USD1.5 billion in the same period last year.
This was chiefly attributed to the higher revenues of prepaid services, as well as to a slight increase in the handset sales, the company said.
