Saudi non-oil exports hit USD3.8b in February

(MENAFN) Official data showed that Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports rose an annual 26 percent in February to USD3.8 billion, the state news agency SPA reported.

The data issued by the Central Department of Statistics unveiled an increase by 14 percent in the weight of exports to 3,878,000 tonnes in February from a year earlier.

The figures showed that petrochemicals exports hit USD1.4 billion, topping the overall exports, followed by plastic products and foodstuffs.

China represented the kingdom’s largest non-oil exports customer, with a total of USD533.24 million, followed by the UAE with USD399.93 million, Singapore with USD222.9 million, India with USD213.3 million and Turkey with USD190.4 million.
