Saudi non-oil exports increases by 6.3 pct

(MENAFN) The Central Department of Statistics & Information (CDSI) reported that non-oil exports of Saudi Arabia boosted by 6.3 percent in the three months to the end of June reaching USD13.730 billion compared to the same quarter in 2012, according to Arab News.

The Kingdom’s imports increased 11.2 percent in the second quarter of the current year reaching USD44.592 billion, a report by CDSI revealed.

The Kingdom’s exports of petrochemical products formed 32 percent of non-oil exports during the same mentioned period, recording the highest level of exports reaching USD4.396 billion, followed by plastic products’ exports with 30.39 percent or USD4.175 billion.
