(MENAFN) Saudi’s non-oil commodity exports increased in June to USD4.97 million, up 14.9 percent over a year, while imports dropped 8.2 percent to USD13.72 million, QNA reported.
Plastics and rubber products topped the list of non-oil commodity exports during the month of June by 33.42 percent amounting to USD1.66 million, a report by Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) showed.
Chemical industry products came second by 31.26 percent amounting to USD1.55 million, and transport equipment by 9.97 percent amounting to USD496.4 thousand.
The United Arab Emirates ranked first in terms of the value of non-oil commodity exports by 13.2 percent, followed by China 12.20 percent, and Singapore by 6.67 percent.
