(MENAFN) Saudi nonoil exports declined by 21.13 percent in June logging USD4.1 billion in comparison with USD4.6 billion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, kingdom’s imports also fell by 9.92 percent to USD12.3 billion compared to last year’s USD13.7 billion, reports showed.
The drop of nonoil exports in June is due to the fall of the leading commodities, especially transport equipment and their parts, which fell by 33.6 percent to USD266 million.
As far as imports are concerned, ordinary metals and their products showed a significant decline at 34.8 percent to reach USD1.3 billion in June compared to USD2 billion in June-2014.
