Saudi Oct non-oil exports to GCC plunge 45.27%

(MENAFN) The Saudi Central Department of Statistics said that the country’s non-oil exports to countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) plunged by 45.27 percent in October from a year ago to USD356 million, reported Arab News.

In the month, the country’s imports from GCC countries fell by 6.94 percent to USD785 million.

63.48 percent of the Kingdom’s total non-oil exports to the GCC went to the UAE, valued at USD163.23 million, followed by Qatar USD60.71 million, Kuwait USD53.79 million, Bahrain USD45 million and Oman USD33.02 million.

It is worth noting that Saudi non-oil exports to global markets fell 22.97 percent in October to USD3.50 billion.
