(MENAFN) The Saudi Central Department of Statistics and Information announced that non-oil exports in March decreased to USD4.6 billion, reported Emirates 24/7.
The agency attributed the drop of 5.9 percent to a decline in petrochemicals shipments, adding that the exports of plastics, petrochemicals and rubber accounted for 64 percent of the Kingdom’s overall exports.
The country’s non-oil shipments went mainly to the UAE, which received 14 percent of the total.
Globally, China received 10.8 percent of Saudi non-oil exports, whereas Singapore received 6.3 percent.
