Saudi SEC reports USD400m profit in Q2

(MENAFN) Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) reported a 10 percent increase in quarterly earnings due to non-recurring settlement payment, Reuters reported.

The company said it made USD401 million net profit during the second quarter, up from USD362.6 million a year earlier.

SEC said the higher results came due to the non-recurring, USD194.35 million settlement payment from Saudi Aramco.
