(MENAFN) A whole of 816 factories and industrial plants, worth USD5.8bn and employing a workforce of 65.816, are recently under building in Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, metals and minerals industry topped the list with 342 factories under construction, trailed by the rubber and plastics industry with 128 factories.
Additionally, the number of factories operating in the kingdom reached 7.788 plants at the end of the first half, with a whole capital of 1.094tr Saudi riyals.
The kingdom will launch an industrial sector stimulus package amid the fourth quarter of the year, part of the incentives to enhance its non-oil economy.
