(MENAFN) Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization (SILOS) announced that it will purchase 575,000 tons of wheat, reported Saudi Press Agency.
SILOS said that the quantity is the first batch of the total amount the organisation plans to import during the current1434/1435 hijri year.
SILOS Director General, Eng. Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, said that the amount will sustain wheat supplies of the organization and keep up strategic reserves, which are sufficient for 6 months.
It is worth noting that the amount will arrive between June and August.
