(MENAFN) Saudi spending on IT and communication is expected to increase 12 percent reaching USD13.7 billion over the following year, according to Arab News.
The kingdom’s current spending on software and IT services reaches 34 percent of the total spending on IT, and is expected to reach 40 percent over the following four years.
A Regional Director, IDC Middle East, Turkey and Africa, said that the ITC sector, including computing, mobility, social networking, and business, will see a spending growth in 2014 reaching 12 percent because of the kingdom’s infrastructure projects.
