Saudi Tasnee, Clariant join hands in a masterbatch project

(MENAFN) Saudi industrial conglomerate Tasneehas agreed with Swiss specialty chemicals firm Clariant to join hands on a masterbatches project in Saudi Arabia, Arab News reported.
Clariant is operating under the name Clariant Masterbatches (Saudi Arabia), which began manufacturing masterbatches twenty years ago.
Rowad, a leader in plastic conversion, and Clariant Masterbatches will develop new solutions for the plastics market.
Tasnee will acquire a 40 percent stake in Clariant’s masterbatches operations in the country through the former’s subsidiary Rowad National Plastic (Rowad).
The partners also plan to build a new plant for the production of white masterbatches.
