(MENAFN) Saudi Transport Ministry plans a project worth about USD1.5 billion to pave 68 new roads in the Kingdom, according to Arab News.
The Transport Minister, Jabara Al-Seraisry, said: “These new projects have been approved by the current fiscal budget.”
Al-Seraisry added: “We had invited tenders from national companies soon after the declaration of the budget in order to implement the projects this year.”
Other road projects were signed by the minister during the last few months worth about USD0.65 billion, while USD2.14 billion was the total of the road contracts which were signed during the current year.
