(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia Airlines (Saudia) will start launching three flights a week to Pearson International Airport, Saudi Gazette reported.
The carrier is currently preparing an operation office at the Canadian airport and the first flight is expected to be on October 28.
The aircraft to be used in these flights was announced to be a Boeing B777-268ER offering 24 first-class, 38 business class and 170 guest class seats.
Khaled Al-Molhem, director general of Saudia, said: “Our new flight to Toronto comes as part of our efforts to strengthen our international presence and serve various groups of passengers including Saudi students who have been pursuing their higher studies at Canadian universities as part of the King Abdullah Foreign Scholarship Program.”
