(MENAFN) Instant Upright, a global provider of access solutions for low and high reach work locations, has won a USD1 million deal with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)/PEMCO for two of its quick erect boiler systems to be used in the Ghazlan power plant.
This agreement marks the first time a quick erect boiler system has been commissioned in the Middle East and Ghazlan will be a reference site for the wider region, Saudi Gazette reported.
SEC plans to spend USD80 billion over the next 10 years to meet Saudi Arabia’s rising demand for electricity and Instant Upright has been able to provide a unique product which relies on expert engineering design and support from Dublin.
SEC generates approximately 75 percent of the electric power in Saudi Arabia and continues to improve efficiencies and introduce more effective processes to ensure best practice within the region.
