SEC signs USD453 contracts with GE

(MENAFN) Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) has signed two contracts with the US-based General Electric at USD453 million to maintain gas turbines at new power plants in Riyadh, according to Arab News.

The project will be run over 25 years and divided into two stages; 8 basic years and 17 optional.

The agreement aims to maintain work on 12 gas fields of combined-cycle power plants, which have 1.600 to 1.950-megawatts capacity for each.
