Singapore to invest SR108mn in Dammam airport

(MENAFN) Top Singapore firm is investing almost SR108mn to build new air cargo facilities at King Fahd Intl’ Airport in Dammam to expand SATS reach in the Asia Pacifi and MENA.

Accordingly, the investment in Dammam is SATS’ biggest green field project in its air cargo business.

On the other hand, Aramco has been working with Singapore firms to invest in supply chain expertise and both upstream and downstream tech and services.

The two countries have reported growth, while Singapore’s trade with the MENA region was USD32.3bn in 2015, dominated by trade with the GCC States at USD29.3bn in 2015.
