(MENAFN) Sudan banned imports of Egyptian agricultural and animal products, receiving a fresh blow to tense relations between both sides.
In addition, relations between Khartoum and Cairo worsened in recent months after Sudanese President accused Egyptian intelligence services of helping opposition figures fight his troops.
Furthermore, trade between both sides reached to almost USD850mn annually, as proclaimed the Sudanese central bank.
Accordingly, Prime Minister has issued an order banning Egyptian agricultural and animal products and importing of seeds from Egypt.
